That word of advice from your uncle at a random family cookout; the inspiring instagram reel; the anecdote from your eccentric friend out west; the book you read as a junior in high school and then later revisited as an adult; we can all think of things that we’ve heard or read over our lives that have made an impact on us.
the percentage of the last 15 years of my life that have been spent consuming content produced by other people – books, podcasts, videos, blog posts, etc. – is borderline embarrassing. I subdue that embarrassment by telling myself that a massive amount of milk means a proportionately larger amount of cream rises to the top. This list is an attempt to capture some of that.
